Eligibility of Consultant :	Required Licenses and Registrations The Tenderer shall possess and maintain throughout the Contract period the following valid and up-to-date licenses, registrations and permits required under the applicable laws of Bangladesh: 1. Pest Control Operator (PCO) License – Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Plant Protection Wing The Tenderer shall hold, in its own name, a valid Pest Control Operator (PCO) License issued by the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Plant Protection Wing, authorizing it to provide commercial pest control services. A copy of the valid license shall be submitted with the Tender. The Contractor shall maintain the validity of the license throughout the Contract period, ensure compliance with all applicable pesticide laws and DAE guidelines, and promptly submit evidence of renewal whenever applicable. All pest control personnel deployed under the Contract shall be suitably qualified and trained to perform the Services under the Contractor's valid PCO License. 2. Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) The Tenderer shall possess a valid registration, licence or certificate issued by the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) and submit a copy with the Tender. The Contractor shall maintain its validity throughout the Contract period. All required licences, registrations, permits, and certificates shall, where applicable, be verifiable through the official online system or other official verification mechanism of the issuing authority.
Brief Description of assignment :	Provision of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Services for the National Institute of Mental Health & Hospital (NIMH), Dhaka, a 400-bed tertiary psychiatric hospital, including inspection, monitoring, prevention and control of bed bugs, cockroaches, rodents, flies, ants, termites and other public health pests throughout the hospital premises.
Experience, Resources and delivery capacity required :	The Tenderer shall have experience in providing Integrated Pest Management (IPM)/Pest Control Services of similar nature and complexity in the public sector, adequate financial capacity, qualified management personnel, and access to the required equipment, chemicals and other resources necessary for satisfactory performance of the Contract, as specified in the the Performance Specifications and Tender Documents.
