This Invitation for Tender is open to all qualified Tenderers as mentioned below:

1. The minimum number of years of General Experience of the Tenderer/Supplier to Manufacture Wooden and Steel Furniture Works/Goods shall be a minimum of 5 years.
2. The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor/Supplier in Supply of similar Goods(furniture) of at least 01 (one) contract i.e. any wooden furniture manufacture/supply successfully completed within the last 5 years with a value of at least BDT of 260.00 Lakh of Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous Bodies/Private Organizations in Bangladesh. i.e. years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the e-GP System. The above experience/work completion certificate shall have to be submitted as follows:
i. In case of the work done under PWD, the certifying and authenticating authority shall be the concerned Executive Engineer.
ii. In case of work done by any Govt./Semi-Govt organization other than PWD the certifying authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and duly verified by the Concerned Executive Engineer of PWD of that district under whose jurisdiction the work has been done.
3. The Tenderer shall have a minimum BDT of 300.00 Lakh only amount of liquid assets i.e. working capital or credit line(s), net of other contractual commitments at the time of Tender submission with the standard format of BPPA(PG3-8).
4. A minimum supply/production capacity of Goods is 2500 numbers furniture per year during the last 03 (Three) years.
5. Up-to-date valid Trade License, Income Tax Clearance Certificate from the NBR with TIN & e-BIN Certificate.
Attention: All other eligibility, special terms & conditions and prequalification will be counted as per TDS, PCC & ITT. And documents attached to Section-06 of this tender must be maintained & fulfilled.

The Tenderer shall submit with its e-Tender the following additional documents: Related documents from the proper authorities submitted with the Tender or the certification is attached along the tender. Failure to submit the following documents, the Tenderer will be treated as non-responsive.
(i) At Factory Premises the Tenderer must have their Own Wooden and Steel Furniture Manufacturing Factory with well manufacturer equipment & skilled manpower & Standard Automated Mechanical & Chemical Seasoning-Treatment Plant and Lacquer Plant. (All are functioning.)
(ii) The Tenderer must have members of Bangladesh Furniture Industries Owners Association and Factory should have Workshop License & Fire License & Insurance Document and NOC of Environment from the concerned Government authority.
(iii) The Tenderer must be the manufacturer to manufacture & install of furniture and furniture must be manufactured/assembled at the factory premises & Factory address/location must be submitted. Sub-Contractor is not allowed.
(iv) VAT and IT can be deducted as per Govt.’s updated Rules and Instructions.
(v) The Procuring Entity (PE) reserves the right to accept or reject the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.
