The main objective of this study is Design, Scope of Work, BoQ and Tender Document Preparation works for Main Pump and Subsidiary Pump under the Project “Emergency Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Ganges-Kobadak Irrigation Project”. The specific objectives of the study are:
a. Main Pump for 02 (two) pumps
• Review the existing mechanical and electrical design of the main pumps.
• Prepare a comprehensive scope of work for supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of both pumps separately.
• Prepare detailed BoQ based on the reviewed design.
• Prepare complete International Competitive Tendering (ICT)-based tender documents for procurement.
• Ensure compliance with BWDB standards, PPA-2006, PPR-2025 and relevant national and international engineering codes.
b. Subsidiary Pump for 08 (Eight) pumps
• Determine appropriate pump type, rating, configuration, and associated electrical systems suitable for site conditions.
• Design of pump arrangement, intake, suction and delivery systems align with civil building design.
• Prepare detailed scope of work, BoQ, and technical specifications.
• Prepare complete tender documents suitable for procurement under OSTEM/ICT procedures.
• Ensure that the design is technically sound, energy-efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with national and international standards.

Experience, Resources and
delivery capacity required : |
Interested consulting firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The EOI will be evaluated based on the following: a) Registration and Legal Entitlements of the Firm (Trade License, TIN, VAT Registration, etc.), b) Company Profile/Brochure, Organizational Structure, Logistics and Availability of Permanent Key Professional Staff, c) Average annual turnover (Audited Financial statement for the last three (03) years), d) General Experience of the firm (s) over the last 10 years in providing consultancy services to government organizations, autonomous bodies or donor funded projects and e) Specific Experience in Similar Nature of Services: i) Experience in mechanical and electrical design of pumping systems for irrigation projects, drainage projects, water treatment plants, or similar water infrastructure projects ii) Experience in the preparation of Tender Documents, including Scope of Work (SoW), Technical Specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and bidding documents for infrastructure projects iii) Experience in conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments for pumping facilities in irrigation, drainage, water supply, or other similar water sector projects.
In case of a Joint Venture, JV agreement/ Letter of Intent must be submitted.
The consulting firm needs to deploy following experts and supporting staffs:
(a)Team Leader, (b) Senior Electrical Engineer, (c) Senior Mechanical Engineer, (d) Procurement Specialist, (e) Auto CAD Operator.
The firm should have adequate in-house engineering capability in multi-disciplinary coordination (mechanical, electrical, civil, hydraulic) to carry out the assignment and delivery capacity of Inception, Interim, Draft Final and Final Report within the stipulated timeframe.
