Eligibility of Tenderer :
1. All the tenderer of Bangladesh who fulfill the qualification criteria as stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS) are eligible to participate in the tender.
2. The Contractor must arrange minimum 4 (Four) nos Long Boom Excavator (Own/Hire) at the time of starting the work.
3. Special instruction uploaded /attached in section-7 (General Specification) is part of the Tender and must be followed. 4. Tenderers having quoted the tender price more than 10 (Ten) percent above or below the official cost estimate, the tender will be rejected. 5. For line of Credit from any scheduled Bank of Bangladesh all the bidders must submit an unconditional assurance certificate following the standard format (Form PW2a-3) without alteration. Otherwise Tender will not be considered. Form PW2a-3 has been attached in Section 7(General Specification). 6. For free funds/liquid assets as Cash the tenderer should submit last six month (counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper) bank statement and during whole period (last six month) there must have minimum balance amount as stated in TDS. Otherwise the submitted bank statement or other certificate will not be treated as liquid asset.
7. Pre-work will be taken jointly by the BWDB officials and contractor before starting the work. Post work will also be taken jointly by the BWDB officials and contractor. Actual cutting volume of earth will be calculated according to the joint pre-work and post work measurement which may vary from the BOQ. Payment will be made on the basis of actual pre-work and post work.
