Special Instruction: 1. Disposal of Spoil earth will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost where departmentally acquisition of land is not available. In this regard no claim what so ever will be entertained and spoil earth should be dumped as per design and specifications and as per instruction of the engineer in charge. Latest Spoil earth management & this related circular will be strictly followed by contractor. 2. Notification of Awards (NOA) will be issued to the successful bidders after getting approval from the competent authority. 3. Pre-work and post work of the earthwork may be checked by the BWDB taskforce or other agency or jointly. if so BWDB taskforce or other agency or jointly measurements will be treated as final . 4. Payment will be made subject to availability of the funds 5 . Authorization Letter has to be attached if there is any representative on the behalf of tenderer.
6. The Contractor shall deliver policies and certificates of insurance to the Executive Engineer before the Start Date. All such insurances shall provide for compensation to be payable in the types and proportions required to rectify the loss or damage incurred.
7. The contractor will have to capture pictures and videos before and after work execution on his own expense and submit those documents with each bill he submits
8. Cross bundh/Ring bundh, Bailing out of water, Removal of water hyacinth will be done (if required) at contractor's own cost.
9. The work may be totally dropped, decreased or increased. No claim or extra rate will be entertained for cancellation of the tender or issuance of work order with decreased quantity of work.
10. Design may also be changed or modified (if required).
