The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the construction works as Prime Contractor shall be 8 (Eight) years (years counting backward from the date of publication of the tender).
The Tenderer must have the experience of Construction of Flexible Pavement of value not less than Tk.1000.00 Lac successfully completed within the last Five(5) years in a single contract of similar nature and complexity including Aggregate Base Type- 1, DBS Base / Wearing Course and in addition of the experience of construction of Rigid Pavemet Work . The experience of flexible pavement must be done in any national/regional/zilla road. (Years will be counted backward from the date of publication of IFT). The experience of construction of Rigid pavement may be in the same contract or different contract, but it shall be within last five years (years will be counted backward from the date of publication of of IFT in the newspaper).
The Tenderer must submit with the tender the above mentioned work certificates from the concerned Executive Engineer/Project Manager/Project Director. In case of the experience in Roads and Highways Department in Bangladesh the attested copy of the requisite certificate for experience as stated above shall be from concerned Executive Engineer/Project Manager/Project Director of Roads and Highways Department and shall be submitted along with tender. In case of the experience in an organization other than Roads and Highways Department in Bangladesh, the above mentioned certificate shall be from the concerned Executive Engineer/Project Manager/Project Director and the same certificate shall also be examined and countersigned by the Executive Engineer, RHD where the work has been constructed. The Original or attested copy of the above certificate is acceptable. Note : (i) The work certificate(s) shall clearly state:
(a) Name of work.
(b) Name of the contractor
(c) Location of the work
(d) Date of signing the contract
(e) Time for completion of the work as per contract agreement.
(f) Value of the work as per contract agreement.
(g) Value of the work after completion.
(h) Date of actual completion.
(i) The tenderer must submit with the tender the above-mentioned work certificate(s) from the concerned Executive Engineer or Project Manager or Project Director or appropriate authority.
(j) In case of JVCA the partner in charge of JVCA must have the above experience to participate in the tender
